I will never again use Abiney nor recommend them for services. Not what I expected from an established company or an owner who should know better than to treat a customer in the manner and tone that he did. Huge loss of business on this one...
I have used other carpet cleaning companies in the past but Abiney's Oriental Rug & Carpet was by far the worst experience I have ever had!
One rug in particular was so bad I could not place back in the home permanently with good conscious. I sent it back and they assured me it would be cleaned better and back in 2 days. The rug was returned promptly but was in the exact same shape as the first time with the acceptation of a waxy substance that wasn't there before and I could scrape it off with my fingernail. The rug was not even vacuumed!
After several attempts to get carpets and rugs cleaned from this company I was finally threw.
Abiney's came to our house (on fairly short notice) to clean two rooms and an entire hallway for $75. We have (2) dogs with white carpet and $75 seemed very inexpensive so I had fairly low expectations. The gentleman who came to clean the carpet was great. We let him inside, left for work, and came home to carpet that looked brand new. Our carpets were cleaned on Monday morning and Tuesday morning I received a follow up call to make sure we were happy with the results. I highly recommend Abiney's for carpet cleaning!
BAD EXPERIANCE FROM THE BEGINNING! NOT ONLY WAS THE JOB TERRIBLE BUT SO WAS THE OWNER!
Rugs were picked up to clean in house at their facility and were not returned until weeks later on most occasions. When we received the rugs back most were not what we expected but did not want to wait another 2-3 weeks to get them returned...
Abiney was called out to clean carpets at a few properties, each time they were called back out to re-do the same job days later. Very time consuming on our end.
When discussing the situation with the owner I was told by the OWNER OF ABINEY'S that we should look else ware for another cleaning service, that they obviously could not meet our expectations. My expectation is a clean rug when you are billed over $100.00. When I challenged him with his service he began bashing the same rug calling it an "old shabby rug" that he didn't have time for. I guess if this company cannot meet the expectation of clean then your personal possessions become "old and shabby".
