The manager is extremely helpful and friendly in person. Don't let his gruffness on the phone fool you.
Omg stopped there to ask for directions to a gas station the gentleman could not be any ruder . What an a hole! I would not stay at that motel if you paid me a million dollars. We interrupted his grilling and he had no time to help us . Do not give him your business!!!!

We stay here every year when we come to LaPorte. Pretty spot with trees, grass and a lake. The one minus is the noise from the Toll Road which is close by. Best to call for reservations in the morning.
Great hospitality and would definitely return. Owner had a cook out and I was invited. Good food, clean rooms and conversation. Toured the property, garden, pond for fishing and rv park. Give it a try if passing through LaPorte. You will not be sorry.
This place is lovely! The grounds are beautiful and well manicured. New electrical boxes.
